Living with Lucy: Melodies Fade but Memories Remain
To leave or to stay?
We hope you have found your answer for the dilemma that unfolded on the stage of Drama Centre on 24 and 25 February nights!
‘Living with Lucy’ juke-box musical was brought to you by Inner Wheel Club of Singapore West and Family Business Network (FBN) Asia. We are grateful for the overwhelming support from our distinguished donors, partners, volunteers and the public, which gave us an astounding full-house turnout on both nights.
Continuing the tradition of our past musical, the heart-warming story brought tears to the eyes of our audience and touched the hearts with a message to be there for your loved ones.
To those who left the theatre with a filled heart, we hope you will stay with us on the journey to build resilience across ages.
The fundraising channel for the musical is still open! Support us HERE.
OUR SPECIAL GUEST OF THE FINAL NIGHT
We were honoured to have President Halimah Yacob as our Guest-of-Honor on 25 February.
Besides watching the full-run of the juke-box musical, Madam President stayed on to congratulate the organizers, cast and production team.
Our Centre Director – Associate Professor John Wong, the Lin Jo Yan and Yeo Boon Khim Professor in Mental Health and Neuroscience, took the opportunity to introduce Mind Science Centre’s key Mental Health programmes and initiatives. We are thankful for Madam President’s encouraging words, in support of our efforts.

AGE WELL EVERYDAY (AWE) PROGRAMME
AWE is a holistic and evidence-based depression and dementia risk prevention programme designed to delay cognitive deterioration, reduce anxiety and increase socialisation. This flagship programme under Mind Science Centre is derived from the ongoing 10-year Jurong Ageing Study. As of now, the programme includes health education, physical exercise, mindfulness practice, art and music reminiscence, horticultural therapy, choral singing and therapeutic forest. The list may grow as our research team uncovers more beneficial activities.
