MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT) FOR LIFE
For Stress Reduction and Lifelong Wellbeing.
Originally developed for relapse prevention of people with chronic depression, MBCT has been widely applied to a range of physical and psychological health problems. Beyond a clinical intervention, it has been increasingly recognized as a way that anyone can use to deal more skilfully with the stresses and strains of daily living. ‘MBCT for Life’ is a programme developed by Oxford Mindfulness Centre for general population. It is adapted from the original MBCT programme and allows more people to benefit from the wisdom of mindfulness. Through the sessions, you will:
- Establish regular mindfulness practice
- Have an in-depth exploration of mind and body
- Learn the mindful approach to relate to stressors and difficulties
- Learn to savour and appreciate the goodness of life
- Apply mindfulness skills in daily living to improve physical wellbeing and strengthen mental resilience
Most importantly, it’s for ANYONE, who wants to try if adopting MBCT will help them deal more skilfully with the challenges of daily living.
