“MBCT-L 2023” refers to the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy – for Life course organised by The Promoter, set to be held from 16 September – 11 November 2023.
About MBCT-L 2023:
The 8-week MBCT-L (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Life) course combines successful elements of Cognitive Therapy with adapted mindfulness meditation practices (including breathing and movement meditations), to bring about greater awareness of mind and body in response to work and home situations.
Mindfulness-based approaches have been shown to enhance well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, and facilitate wiser responses to a range of physical and psychological health problems. There is also growing evidence that when health professionals practice mindfulness, there are beneficial effects not just for them, but for the patients under their care (Epstein, 2017).
Satisfactory completion of this course will get you a certificate to satisfy the pre-requisite to join the mindfulness teacher training.
