Presbyterian Community Services (PCS) and Mind Science Centre will be organising an online webinar on 12 December 2020, from 2-4pm. Titled “Depression, there’s hope”, we have invited key speakers who are experts in their field to talk more about the signs and symptoms of stress, and how we can cope with depression.
The first speaker, Mr William Wan, General Secretary of the Singapore Kindness Movement, will share his experiences and ways to cope with stress and prevent depression. Dr Chee Tji Tjian, Consultant Child Psychiatrist at NUH, will be speaking on what parents can do. Associate Prof Rathi Mahendran, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, NUH & NUS, has conducted and written many research papers. She will talk about early signs and treatment for the depressed elderly. Professor Kua Ee Heok, Tan Geok Yin Professor in Psychiatry and Neuroscience, will speak to us about the first Singapore study on dementia prevention.
Mr David Lim, Executive Director of PCS, will be chairing this lecture.
