Mind Science Centre is planning an upcoming lecture and book launch on Sat, 24 Oct 2020 and we invite you to join us online via Zoom. The keynote speaker, Professor Kua Ee Heok, will be delivering the “Wee Sin Tho lecture” as well as launching a book on the Nature and Mindful Awareness Study (NaMAS). NaMAS is a qualitative study that aims to enhance the physical well-being and mental resilience of seniors through Mindful walking in the rainforest. Professor Kua is a Tan Geok Yin Professor in Psychiatry and Neuroscience.

Titled “Nature. Health. Happiness.”, the book by Professor Kua and various experienced collaborators talks about Mindful Walking, Therapeutic Gardens, the Science of Nature-based programmes, and more. The session will also comprise of a Q&A and dialogue with panellists Mrs Wee Geok Hua, Prof Vincent Chong, chaired by A/Prof John Wong Chee Meng, the Lin Jo Yan and Yeo Boon Khim Professor in Mental Health and Neuroscience.
