D.S. Lee Foundation Mind Art Experiential Lab (MAELab)

D.S. Lee Foundation

“When Art meets Science, it creates wonders”

Located inside Alexandra Hospital, the D.S. Lee Foundation Mind Art Experiential Lab (MAELab) is a multidisciplinary space dedicated to exploring the mind through the combined lenses of art, science, and technology. MAELab brings together researchers, artists, clinicians, and community partners to translate complex mental health concepts into engaging, sensory-rich experiences.

Imagined as a space for discovery and contemplative exploration, MAELab invites visitors to explore how art and transdisciplinary research can inspire creative and integrative interventions for mental health. The Lab serves as a bridge between scientific discovery and public understanding, fostering curiosity, reflection, and dialogue about mental well-being.
